CAMBA Dedicates Morris Manor

CAMBA & CAMBA Housing Ventures, Inc. (CHV) dedicated Morris Manor, a new and affordable 46 unit permanent supportive housing development located at 1247 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, with a ribbon cutting ceremony

The building was dedicated to Beverly & Charles R. Morris in gratitude for their support of CAMBA and affordable housing in Brooklyn. Advocates of CAMBA since 1982, Beverly Morris is the Board President for CAMBA Housing Ventures and Charles R. Morris is the CHV Board Treasurer.

Morris Manor Apartments provides 46 units of permanent affordable housing and supportive services. Of the 46 units, 40% are targeted for individuals earning no more than approximately $30,000 (60% of Area Median Income) and 60% are reserved for individuals who are exiting the shelter system. CAMBA staff provides on-site case management services, group facilitation and recreational activities.

Financing provided by CSH, NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, NYS Homeless Housing and Assistance Corporation and Enterprise Community Investment.
