Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region is pleased to announce the Media Challenge as part of the 2013 Bowl for Kids' Sake presented by SEFCU. This year, we are aiming to raise $118,000 to create and sustain professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring matches for area youth and we challenge you as a member of the media, to help us reach that goal!


Sunday March 3: Saratoga Bowl at Saratoga Strike Zone
Thursday March 7: Sisters Bowl at Spare Time East Greenbush
Friday March 8: Happy Hour Bowl at Spare Time East Greenbush
Sunday March 10: Community Bowl at Spare Time East Greenbush

YOU ARE INVITED to choose a night to bowl, create a team of up to 5 people and raise $300 minimum per team to get in on the fun! Simply register on FirstGiving and send links to friends and family to sponsor your team. It's that easy! Roll out the fun for our Capital Region youth and win a sponsorship package worth over $5,000!

The media outlet that raises the most for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region will win:

$500 sponsorship package for The Chef' Challenge or Spirits of September;
Exclusive sponsorship of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region events calendar for one year;
Placement of logo on BBBS website with special credit for winning the Bowl for Kids' Sake Media Challenge;
Publicity on social media, newsletter, and (6) Constant Contact e-blasts throughout the year.
