Seth Rosen has been named Managing Director for Development at Gay Men’s Health Crisist (GMHC).
Rosen is a seasoned nonprofit executive with over ten years of experience raising significant funds for a variety of domestic and international nonprofit organizations. Most recently, Rosen was the Assistant Vice President of Development at New York Law School where he oversaw all aspects of the Law School’s fundraising activities, including the management of the Law School’s $100 million endowment campaign. Prior to joining the Law School’s professional staff, Rosen was the first Director of Development of two sister organizations, Millennium Promise and Malaria No More, and also served as the Director of Major Gifts at Amnesty International USA. He started his fundraising career at Planned Parenthood Federation of America as Planned Giving Specialist, and later as the Manager of Fundraising for PPFA’s international direct service programs in the developing world. Prior to beginning his fundraising career, Rosen was an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department where he defended the City of New York in federal civil rights cases. He received his B.A. from Brandeis University, J.D. from New York Law School, and his M.PA. from New York University.
