Dianne Morales has joined the Phipps Houses Group as the new Executive Director/CEO of Phipps Community Development Corporation (Phipps CDC).

As Executive Director/CEO of Phipps Community Development Corporation, Morales assumes leadership of the organization’s human service programs and services. Phipps CDC was founded in 1973 to enhance the housing work of Phipps Houses, but has grown into a major community-based service provider in the areas of early childhood education, after-school programming, and services to foster economic and educational attainment for adults, particularly in the Bronx where Phipps Houses has a substantial housing presence. As chief executive, she will direct and plan Phipps CDC’s service offerings, which reach over 8,000 participants annually.

Morales possesses an extensive background in human services and education, having served most recently as Vice President of Programs for SingleStop USA, a national anti-poverty organization. Prior to that, she spent nearly five years at The Door, an acclaimed agency providing comprehensive services for at-risk youth and young adults throughout NYC, her final 2 years as Executive Director. Her comprehensive experience in education organizations and in senior leadership roles within the NYC Department of Education has made her a trusted partner of government agencies and a leader in effective program development and management.
