J. David Seay, Esq. has been named General Counsel of Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State (CP of NYS).
“I’m very pleased that David Seay has joined our organization,” said President & CEO Susan Constantino. “His years of experience, specific knowledge and expertise make him an ideal candidate for this position. He will be a tremendous resource for our organization.”
Seay has more than 35 years of professional experience as a legal and policy expert in the field of health management. He comes to CP of NYS from Mark Krueger & Associates where he provided strategic counsel to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and worked with clients to develop and implement patient advocacy programs. He previously served as Executive Director of the National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York State and was elected to serve as Chair of the national NAMI Executive Directors’ Group. He also managed the health care grants program, the development office and the New York City Health Care for Homeless program as Vice President and General Counsel of the United Hospital Fund of New York.
Seay holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from Oklahoma City University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D. C.
