Lotus King Weiss is trying to open Confucius Teachings elementary, middle and high schools in Flushing and three others in Manhattan’s Chinatown in 2014. Lotus King Weiss’ previous application to create a year-round bilingual charter school for the children of illegal Chinese immigrants in Flushing was denied. Read more in the Daily News.
