Disability Agencies Fight Cuts to Budget PDF Print E-mail

Agencies that provide services to the developmentally disabled are calling on the state Legislature to reconsider funding cuts to them in Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s state budget. The proposed $240 million in cuts could diminish the quality of critical services for the developmentally disabled and their families and cause job losses at the nearly 20 groups in Dutchess County that provide these services.
