JCCA Raises $752K at Celebration of Hope PDF Print E-mail

More than 300 friends and supporters raised $752,000 for Jewish Child Care Association’s (JCCA) programs at this year’s Celebration of Hope cocktail reception. Held on May 6 at the beautiful Frederick P. Rose, Hall Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, the evening honored esteemed JCCA Trustees Naomi S. Birnbach and Arthur F. Maslow, and the legacy of Mr. Maslow’s father Charles and brothers Lester and Robert.

“The evening was a spectacular success,” said Richard Altman, JCCA CEO.  “Not only did we raise more than three quarters of a million dollars, but it gave us great pleasure to honor two committed Board members who have given nearly 50 years of service to New York’s children and families.”

Guests were treated to an amazing evening, featuring an incredible song medley by Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell, a rousing rendition of The Impossible Dream by JCCA’s Brooklyn Democracy Academy Choir, and moving speeches by some who have been helped by the agency.
