S/he must ensure and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

The Education Director will be responsible for all of the administrative and educational functions of the pre-school, including but not limited to hiring and maintaining applicable staff ratios; monitoring mandates and ensuring IEP compliance; overseeing enrollment numbers; developing staff in-service trainings; representing the agency at meetings and community coalitions; monitoring school bus service and liaising between the New York City Department of Transportation, the bus company and parents; and all other duties assigned by the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director.
