The Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City has released two separate Requests for Proposals to replicate anti-poverty programs that had originally been piloted by the NYC Center for Economic Opportunity (CEO).  The RFPs seek applicants to replicate the WorkAdvance and  JOBS-PLUS programs. The new programs will be funded through the new federal Social Innovation Fund (SIF).  In each case, the programs will be replicated in additional New York City neighborhoods as well as in other cities or regions across the nation.

The RFP for the WorkAdvance program seeks applicants for New York as well as Northeast Ohio (Akron, Cleveland, Canton and Youngstown); and Tulsa, OK.

The RFP for the JOBS-PLUS program seeks applicants for New York City as well as San Antonio, TX and Tulsa.

The application deadline for WorkAdvance is November 30, 2010.  The Deadline for questions is November 16th.

The application deadline for JOBS-PLUS is November 22, 2010 with a deadline for submission of questions of November 8th.

Copies of the RFP documents are available at the CEO website.
