As Mayor-Elect Bill de Blasio begins the process of putting together his new administration, there is always the possibility that he may want to keep some members of Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s team.  There are already rumors about some current Commissioners wanting to stay on; while others are ready to take a well-deserved rest.  Some, like Michele Ovesey at DHS and RuthAnne Visnauskas at HPD, are relatively new to their posts.  On the other hand, Jeanne Mullgrav at DYCD has been there from the very start.

If it were up to you, who would you want to continue on in their current positions… or possibly take an even more important role in the new administration?   And, who would you want to see move on?

  • Linda Gibbs, Deputy Mayor for HHS;
  • Ron Richter, Commissioner, ACS;
  • Jeanne Mullgrav, Commissioner, DYCD;
  • Lilliam Barrios-Paoli, Commissioner, DFTA;
  • Dennis Walcott, Schools Chancellor;
  • Dr. Thomas Farley, Commissioner, DOHMH;
  • Michele Ovesey, Commissioner, DHS;
  • Robert Doar, Commissioner, HRA;
  • RuthAnne Visnauskas, Commissioner, HPD;
  • Vincent Schiraldi, Commissioner, Probation;
  • Dora Schriro, Commissioner, Correction;
  • Ray Kelly, Commissioner, Police.
